Cruise Saudi Acquires World Dream Cruise Ship

World Dream

According to a media report in the Saudi Gazette, Cruise Saudi is the buyer of the World Dream following the Singapore Sherrif’s auction in late 2022.

A sales price was not disclosed for the former Dream Cruises ship, which is now expected to restart operations this summer.

“The ship has been renamed to reflect its new ownership and will now undergo a refit,” said Lars Clasen, CEO of Cruise Saudi, which has been tasked with growing the cruise business in Saudi Arabia.

Cruise Saudi is involved on an investment level in the Project Sama newbuild, plus it has been busy developing opening ports in Saudi Arabia.
