Carnival Brings Back ‘Behind the Scenes’ Across Fleet

Carnival announced the return of its “Behind the Scenes” program across the fleet, starting from April 1, 2023.

The “Behind the Scenes” program is designed to give guests the opportunity to explore beyond the public areas of Carnival’s ships and visit areas such as the ship’s bridge, engine control room, main galley, staff dining areas, storeroom, laundry and others.

The tours may also include a look at crew living areas including the dining rooms, lounges, and quarters, which gives guests an insight into the full-time life onboard.

The tours, which were previously suspended due to COVID, are exclusive and conducted in small groups. Tours can only be booked at the Shore Excursion Desk and, depending on the ship, may be conducted in a single or a few small groups.

To participate in the tours, guests must be at least eight years old and those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must wear close-toed shoes and be able to navigate steep areas.

“Behind the Scenes” tours last from two to three-and-half hours, depending on the ship’s size. Tours range in price from $55 to $95 per person.
