Icon Family Townhouse 55% Sold for 2024; $75,000 A Week

Ultimate Family Townhouse

Royal Caribbean International is seeing strong performance in bookings for its new Icon of the Seas, including for one particular stateroom, said Michael Bayley, president and CEO of the brand.

Speaking on the company’s fourth quarter and year-end earnings call on Tuesday, Bayley said the Icon of the Seas was the best selling product in the history of the company.

“Just one little nugget that gets me very excited is, and it’s only one category of room, but the Ultimate Family Townhouse that we sell on Icon, which is a three-story experience for younger families, is already 55 percent sold for 2024 and at an average price of $75,000 per week,” Bayley said, in a call with Wall Street analysts.

“So, you could just get a feel of the kind of demand that’s being generated by these new products.”

The Ultimate Family Townhouse occupies three levels.

Royal Caribbean, in marketing materials, said its the perfect home away from home for families and features an in-suite slide, a cinema space, karaoke, a spacious balcony, a private entrance to the ultimate family neighborhood, Surfside, and more.

Royal Caribbean takes delivery of the new Icon later this year, with the ship debuting into revenue service on week-long Caribbean cruises in January 2024.
