Emerald Cruises Launches Its First Caribbean Season

Emerald Azzurra

Emerald Cruises has announced the launch of its first Caribbean season aboard its yachts, the Emerald Azzurra and her twin, Emerald Sakara, which will enter service in August.

“The Emerald Cruises yachts offer a fresh take on cruising in this picturesque region. With just 100 guests apiece, these yachts will redefine what a Caribbean vacation can look like,” said Ken Muskat, managing director for Emerald Cruises US.

“We’re excited to double our capacity in this region with Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara. Our luxury yachts moor in small harbors and hidden coves, allowing our guests to feel they’re sailing on their own private yacht, in a secluded paradise. We believe US travelers will love experiencing their favorite destinations from a new perspective with the outstanding service and attention provided by our Emerald Cruises team onboard these state-of-the-art vessels.”

Homeporting in the Caribbean during 2023 and 2024 winter seasons, Emerald Cruises will offer 12  itineraries ranging from eight to 19 days.

These itineraries will take guests to the islands in the Grenadines, British and US Virgin Islands, Eastern Caribbean and West Indies. Additionally, the vessels will make calls in Puerto Rico, Panama, Costa Rica and Colombia.

In December 2023, guests can book an eight-day Eastern Caribbean with St. Barths itinerary, sailing from Bridgetown, Barbados. The cruise includes a visit to the Tobago Cays, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint-Pierre, Martinique and Îles des Saintes, Guadeloupe among other destinations.

Guests looking to explore sunny beaches can book the eight-day West Indies Island Hopping itinerary from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Travelers who book 2023 and 2024 Caribbean sailings by March 31 will save up to $1,500 per couple. Additionally, guests who pay in full 12 months before the sailing, or within 72 hours of booking, (for cruises departing within 12 months), have the option to choose between a free or reduced international airfare, free premium drinks package, or saving up to $2,000 per couple.
