Alaskan Dream Cruises announced that it is bringing back the True Alaskan Family Cruise in 2023, which hasn’t been offered since 2018, according to a press release.
“When an opportunity presented itself to include this itinerary in our 2023 line-up, we jumped at the chance. This has all the elements of an amazing family cruise experience — a 5-night, 6-day duration, July 1 start date when most schools around the country are out, an opportunity to experience 4th of July celebrations in a small coastal town, and most importantly, wildlife, a stunning tidewater glacier, kayaking and more,” Alaskan Dream Cruises Spokesperson Zak Kirkpatrick said.
“Families will never forget the fun memories they’ll make on this expedition.”
The six-day family cruise departs from Juneau on July 1 aboard the Admiralty Dream. The itinerary includes sailing through glacial fjords and remote bays which is ideal for exploration by kayak and skiff. Guests can take advantage of this opportunity to admire the wildlife and there will be plenty of hiking opportunities as well.
The voyage ends in Sitka.
Prices for the family cruise start at $2,895 per person, with a chance for families to travel at a discount. For those that book a third or fourth guest in their stateroom, the cost is additionally reduced by 25 percent for the additional guests. Families that book a second stateroom will receive a 50 percent discount on the second room provided that it is of equal or lesser value.
The prices include accommodations on the ship, all meals during the sailing, scheduled shore excursions and airport transfers.
