Royal Caribbean International closed out 2022 with visits to 230 ports, in addition to 4,636,746 passengers embarked.

The cruise line celebrated the achievements in a social media post, which also reveals additional interesting facts.

With 26 ships in service around the world, Royal Caribbean’s fleet made a total of 530 calls at Perfect Day at CocoCay – the company’s private island in the Bahamas – during 2022.

In Labadee, Royal Caribbean’s private destination in Haiti, a total of 23,980 guests experienced the Dragon’s Breath Zipline – one of the longest over-water ziplines in the world.

Following the debut of the Wonder of the Seas, which entered service in March, the brand also reached a total of 18 bionic bartenders fleetwide.

First introduced in 2014, the robots are part of the brand’s Bionic Bar and prepare cocktails at guest’s order.

Also according to the post, the most popular bar onboard was The Lime & Coconut.

Located at the pool deck of several vessels of the fleet, the multi-story Caribbean-themed venue was designed to offer “island vibes” all day and into the night, according to the company.

After being revealed in October, the new Icon of the Seas was awarded the “Most Dreamt About Ship,” Royal Caribbean added.

Set to debut in 2024, the 250,000-ton vessel is set to introduce a new class to the fleet, debuting several innovations and features.

Among them are new neighborhoods, the world’s largest water park at sea, a reimagined Royal Promenade and the all-new AquaDome.

Located at the top of the vessel, the area features a huge waterfall and is described by Royal Caribbean as a transformational place unlike any other, offering different experiences as the day goes by.
