Antarctica21 launched a “Chief Flying Penguin Officer” program giving away one fly-and-sail expedition to Antarctica.

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the adventure travel company launched a contest searching for penguin lovers across the globe, according to a press release..

Participants can apply to become Antarctica21’s Chief Flying Penguin Officer from January 24 to March 17, 2023.

“Twenty years ago, we introduced an innovative way of traveling to Antarctica,” said Jaime Vasquez, president of Antarctica21.

“With a two-hour flight from the tip of South America, visitors can reach the White Continent quickly and in comfort, saving the two-day ship crossing over the rough waters of the Drake Passage. To celebrate our anniversary this year, we are giving one lucky person a chance to win a trip to Antarctica and share in our passion for the continent.”

Antarctica21 will randomly select a lucky contestant to travel to Antarctica free of charge onboard the Ocean Nova.

The voyage will depart on December 7, 2023, via Classic Antarctica Air-Cruise, in a single cabin, a $17,795 value.

The prize includes the round-trip flight between Punta Arenas, Chile and Antarctica, five nights of shipboard accommodation with full board, zodiac and shore excursions in Antarctica, two nights in Punta Arenas pre- and post-expedition and more.

Participants are required to fill out the entry form and answer three knowledge questions correctly. Correct answers will be announced on March 17, 2023. Participants must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
