China Cruise Shipping 14 Preview: Industry Gathers in Guangzhou

Cruise industry leaders, suppliers, ports and key government officials are gathering in China later this week for the China Cruise Shipping Conference & International Cruise Expo (CCS14), hosted by the China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association in Guangzhou.

With the Chinese market returning to growth and led by new ship arrivals coming online in 2020 and beyond, the stage will be set for a discussion of supply growth, government policies, changing the sales model, brand differentiation and other key agenda items, including a new food safety forum.

In addition will be an adjacent trade show, the Cruise Expo, where suppliers, ports and Chinese state-owned corporations will exhibit.

The event will conclude with the opening of the new Guangzhou cruise terminal,
