Port Everglades Storm Update

Broward County offices, including Port Everglades administration offices, will be closed on Thursday, September 7. However, Port Everglades will continue normal operations until further notice, according to a statement from the port.

Port Everglades said that it anticipates that the U.S. Coast Guard will issue orders for Hurricane Condition X-Ray (48-hour alert) at noon on Thursday, September 7, Hurricane Condition Yankee (24-hour alert) at noon on Friday, September 8.

The U.S. Coast Guard will set the timing for Hurricane Condition Zulu based on the track of the storm. Descriptions of the Coast Guard’s hurricane conditions are published on their website and on the Port Everglades website.
