The event is the largest Arctic shipping conference in North America.
Among agenda items are assessing specific risks for passengers and cruise vessels, new regulatory framework around Greenland, planning exercises for Arctic cruises, and emergency response scenarios, along with various topics on operations in polar waters.
October 30 and 31 also feature a topical conference agenda, with operations, the new Polar Code, safety and ballast management items, among others.
