Mystic’s new World Explorer is already in its tank testing phase ahead of a late 2018 delivery date.
The tank and model test is being conducted at MARIN (Maritime Research Institute Netherlands).
The 176-passenger ship will enter service for Quark Expeditions for the 2018-2019 Antarctica season followed by a summer sailing for Nicko Cruises.
Mystic Cruise and Mystic Invest are building a series of expedition ships at Portugal’s West Sea shipyard, with the World Explorer being the prototype vessel.
