Port of San Francisco: New Waterfront Dining

The port said it had targeted a search to businesses working with community based organizers and that Queen’s won the pilot opportunity.

The original Queen’s in the Portola neighborhood has been serving New Orleans Cajun and Creole dishes since 2009.

Also on the waterfront, ATwater Tavern opened in May of last year near Pier 50 after a complete renovation of the space that had been vacant since 2010.

Atwater serves seafood, salads, burgers and fried chicken, as well as new takes on classics such as Dungeness cake benedict at brunch, according to the port’s newsletter.
