Hapag-Lloyd Announces Deployment, Bremen in Fleet Through 2019

The Hanseatic will remain in the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises expedition fleet through September 2018, and today the company announced its 2018-2019 expedition program, adding two international (bi-lingual) sailings aboard the Hanseatic and three onboard the Bremen.

“The cruises on the Bremen are intended to serve as a transition until the launch of the new international expedition ship ‘HANSEATIC inspiration’ in October 2019,” the company said in a prepared statement.

The German line will get two new advanced five-star luxury expedition ships in 2019.

The five English-speaking cruises include expeditions to Antarctica and the Arctic, with Bremen also sailing through the North East Passage in the summer of 2018.

There are also international sailings aboard the Hanseatic in the Arctic in August and September of 2018.
