AIDA Cruises has announced its first career day event to take place in Hamburg aboard the AIDAprima on March 4. Subsequent career days this year will take place aboard the AIDAdiva in Rostock on May 9 and 19, and July 4.
According to AIDA, the events are designed to let applicants demonstrate their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the areas of wellness, beauty, retail, photography and gastronomy.
They are also given insight into everyday life and work aboard a modern cruise ship and information on working terms and benefits. Crew members from the respective areas will guide the visitors through the ship, relating their personal, first-hand experiences.
The program also includes personal interviews and Q&A sessions with colleagues onboard and HR executives.
“We offer an attractive working environment and career prospects in a vast array of different areas. With the AIDA Career Days we give applications a comprehensive and intensive insight into the working world onboard AIDA,” said Haike Witzke, vice president human resources management.
Anyone interested can apply to attend the AIDA Career Days 2017 by visiting www.aida-jobs.de, where further information on current job postings on shore and at sea is also available.
