The American Samoa Visitors Bureau is expecting 12 ships to call into Pago Pago Harbor in 2017, bringing some 28,000 visitors to the destination.

The Sea Princess opens the season on Jan. 19 while the Regatta, from Oceania, closes the year on Nov. 25.

Maiden calls include the Sirena, Emerald Princess, and the Norwegian Jewel. Other ships include the Pacific Venus and Pacific Princess, as well as the Noordam and Seven Seas Navigator.
