Robinson to Leave Intercruises

Mark Robinson

Mark RobinsonMark Robinson will be leaving his post as CEO of Intercruises to pursue new professional challenges, according to a statement from the shoreside, destination and port services company.

Robinson had been instrumental in building Intercruises up as a leading service provider, personally founding the company in 2003. He has overseen the growth of the firm from a one-port ground handler to a provider of services at over 400 cruise ports.

Intercruises, in a statement from Jordi Cerdó, managing director of Destination Services, said there was a strong succession plan in place and underway; and more news was coming.

Olga Piqueras will continue to lead the Intercruises Platform as Managing Director.

As an interim measure Virginia Quintairos and Simon O’Sullivan will now report to Cerdó, leading Destination Services in the Med and Europe region.
