In a statement released to Cruise Industry News, Genting Hong Kong has said it has no plans to take its Star Cruises brand to the Mediterranean in 2016, as reported by Italian media outlets.

“Be informed there are currently no plans for Star Cruises to deploy a ship in the Mediterranean Sea next year,” said Genting, in a prepared statement.
