Xiamen Drops Cruise Ship Building Plans

Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry Co. has dropped plans to build a 100,000-ton cruise ship, according to a company spokesperson speaking to Cruise Industry News.

Previous rumors dating back as far as three years had the company, with government funding, building a luxury ship for launch in 2018 at a cost of $485 million.
