MHG Insurance Brokers, a national brokerage in the United States specializing in life and health insurance for groups and individuals as well as business insurance, announced today that they will open offices in another North American location.
The Houston, TX office is poised to serve the booming Houston metro area as well as the growing Oil and Gas industry.
The new offices are located in the prestigious Norway House, which is also home to the Royal Norwegian Consulate-General, the Houston chapter of the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) as well as a number of other Norwegian entities.
The official opening event will be held on January 21st, 2014. The ribbon cutting will be performed by the Honorable Norwegian Consul General, Dr Jostein Mykletun with MHG Chairman and CEO, Andrew Dudzinski and President, John Haagensen in attendance. The Houston location will be managed by Henrik Margard, who will report directly to John Haagensen.
“Employment is forecast to grow in all sectors in Houston, including professional and business services, education, health, trade, transportation, utilities and construction, as well as energy and manufac¬turing”, said John Haagensen, President of MHG. “In addition, there are close to 10,000 Norwegian expats living in the Houston area and, MHG has provided expatriate insurance cover, amongst other services, for more than 20 years. We are delighted to join our colleagues at Norway House, to better serve the Norwegian community, as well as the general population.
MHG also has offices in Fort Lauderdale, Isle of Man, Hamburg and the Cote d’Azur.
