According to a statement issued to South American press, Costa Crociere is again building up its South America presence and will add a third ship in the Fortuna for the 2014/2015 season.
The Fortuna will join the Favolosa and Pacifica, and is expected to increase the company’s deployment capacity by about 50 percent.
The Costa Fortuna was the first ship over 100,000 tons to sail in South America when she made her debut in Brazil in 2006.
