As part of its ongoing travel agent outreach program, Carnival Conversations, Carnival Cruise Lines has announced a variety of enhancements planned for GoCCL.com, its travel agent Internet portal.
The enhancements are currently underway with the first phase expected to be completed by mid-October with the final implementation of the project slated for the end of the year.
The new enhancements are a direct result of travel agent feedback and are designed to create a simplified experience for GoCCL.com users. Key enhancements include:
• Stateroom display and selection will become streamlined and more convenient, offering travel agents more choice in how they search accommodation categories to match their clients’ needs more easily and quickly.
• Rate selection will become more customized with the implementation of pre-selection filters, enabling travel agents to customize their rate search.
• Simplified “change of occupancy” process with the addition of an “add guest” option. This will allow travel agents to add guests and subsequently change accommodations regardless of the number of guests being added.
• Ability to decrease group allotments to less than eight cabins.
“We’re continually investing in GoCCL.com in order to provide travel agents with the most convenient booking experience at any hour of the day,” said Joni Rein, Carnival’s vice president of worldwide sales. “Over the last two months, we gained valuable feedback from travel agents regarding key upgrades needed to make GoCCL.com more intuitive and user-friendly and we’re proud to share that these enhancements are already underway.”
In addition to these key upgrades, Carnival is implementing continual “quick fix” enhancements to GoCCL.com based on feedback received from Carnival Conversations on an ongoing basis.
