Hanseatic Drydock Delayed

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ routine drydocking of its expedition vessel Hanseatic hit a speed bump with an engine room fire in Bremerhaven, according to reports.

The German line has cancelled the next cruise to make the necessary repairs aboard the 1993-built 184-passenger vessel, which was scheduled to sail to Northern Europe.

Passengers received a refund and a 10 percent discount on a future cruise.
