As a “gift” to the Hong Kong population by the Chinese government, marking the 15th anniversary of the handover of Hong Kong to China, the government has lifted cruise sanctions.
According to industry sources in Asia, mainland tourists who take a cruise from Hong Kong to Taiwan are now allowed to extend their cruise from Taiwan to Japan and/or Korea.
