The Port of Saguenay is enjoying a banner cruise season, with its 100,000th cruise ship visitor expected this summer.
Quickly becoming a destination on Canada/New England itineraries, the port, according to Magali Vézina, international cruise coordinator, is expecting 30,000 cruise passengers and 26 ship calls this year.
“It is also the first year that we will have the privilege of hosting two ships that remain at port overnight,” Vézina said. “Not only will the visitors experience our unique hosting and many activities, but they will also enjoy Saguenay’s night life and its people.”
