Mein Schiff 1 Drydocking

TUI Cruises is drydocking the Mein Schiff 1 this week. According to the company, the drydock is taking place in Marseille and will run from April 14 through April 21.

A total of 400 workers boarded the ship in addition to 814 crew members that will stay on.

Routine maintenance will be performed including what TUI said was the repair of the underwater hull coating.

TUI will make cosmetic changes inside, adding new shower doors in all cabins and new carpets in most areas.

About 7,500 square meters and approximately 500 square meters carpet distant teak will be recycled.
