P&O’s Canberra, pictured here in Southampton. The 44,000-ton ship was launched in 1960 by yard Harland and Wolff. The ship was originally intended for P&Os England-Australia service, but was adapted to cruising in the 1970s before serving in the Falklands War. She returned to cruising post war for P&O, and was scrapped in the late 1990s. Read More.
