TUI Cruises has named Ferdinand Strohmeier vice president of operations effective Sept. 15, 2011. Strohmeier will be overseeing product management, entertainment, port operations, shore excursions and ground handling. He previously served as general manager aboard the TUI ships and has been working in the industry since 2001. Strohmeier has a background in hotel and management training.
