Going on 10 years, this festival continues to be one of the most important summer events in Le Havre.

According to Valérie Dubuc, cruise director for the office of tourism in Le Havre, 250 artists participate in some 180 performances running every weekend, from July 8 to Aug. 14.

Z’estivales usually takes place on the beach, but also moves to other locations in city. These street-arts and shows, sometimes musicals, attract large audiences, including cruise passengers.

This year, eight cruise ships call at Le Havre during Z’estivales, representing an additional 15,000 spectators.
