Hurtigruten’s New Port-to-Port Pricing

Hurtigruten has announced new port-to-port pricing that will allow travelers to customize their Norwegian exploration by combining the Classic Norwegian Coastal Voyage with extended stays ashore in any of the 34 ports of call visited on the west coast itinerary.

The new pricing system benefits Hurtigruten guests who wish to spend more time ashore in certain cities as well as anyone traveling in Norway – whether on a family visit, ski vacation or business trip – as a uniquely scenic mode of transportation.  With daily departures, easy online booking and an array of optional excursions, which start at only $32 and range from dog sledding to Sami culture experiences, guests are able to design the itinerary that best fits their needs and preferences.  Nightly rates for an unspecified cabin during the winter, autumn/spring and summer are $119, $142 and $202, respectively; rates for guaranteed outside cabins are $127, $158 and $250.

“Hurtigruten has 11 ships serving 34 ports daily, creating a choice of 1,122 possible sailings,” says Hurtigruten Sales Director Rolf Logan. “Out of a complex travel product, we have now established a pricing system that is easy to understand and even easier to customize to fit the guest’s travel needs and wishes.”
