Tivoli Launches ‘A Royal Fairy Tale’ for Cruise Passengers

As reported on Cruise Industry News earlier this week, Tivoli Gardens has officially announced it is reaching out to cruise guests with a tailor-made 30 minute show – A Royal Fairy Tale – in the Tivoli Concert Hall.

The new show will give guests a “taste of Tivoli’s finest old traditions.” The story will be about both Tivoli as well as Hans Christian Andersen and Queen Margrethe of Denmark, who occasionally works as a set and costume designer for Tivoli.

“Our ambition has been to present the soul of Copenhagen in a fun and easy way, the Tivoli way, so that our guests will feel they have seen and experienced Copenhagen, even if they have only spent a day here,” said Tivoli CEO Lars Liebst.

According to a statement from Tivoli, the Garden ahs now put together a portfolio of products aimed at the cruise market and has added full-time staff dedicated to the industry.

All tours aimed at cruise passengers include admission to Tivoli.

Tivoli is a publically listed company on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange and sees some 4 million visitors per year.
