Cruise Industry News, the leading international media source on the cruise industry, has been selected as the official media partner for this year’s Cruise Canada New England Symposium. Cruise Industry News has been based in Manhattan since 1978.
The 13th annual Cruise Canada New England Symposium (www.nycruise2011.com) is set to take place in New York City, June 14-16.
The Symposium brings together industry executives along with major cruise players from the Canada New England region. More than 300 delegates are expected to attend.
Organized by Intercruises, NYCruise and Ports America, the Symposium will allow for prime networking and sharing of best practices. The conference will also feature business sessions, relevant industry panels and various social functions.
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is expected to open the Symposium.
“We are honored to host the Canada New England Cruise Symposium for the first time in its 13-year history,” said Tom Spina, director of cruise operations for NYCruise.
“By partnering together, we are increasing the exposure and cruise traffic of our region – resulting in economic benefits to all destinations involved. 2010 was a record year for cruising in New York City and we look forward to building upon that success for the entire region into 2011 and beyond.”
