Archives: Cunard Sagafjord

Recently retired due to SOLAS 2010 regulations (see Cruise Industry News Quarterly Magazine – Fall 2010 – SOLAS Rules In), the Sagafjord originally launched for Norwegian America Line in 1965. Cunard Line bought Norwegian America line in 1983, and at one time claimed to have “six of the world’s top ten five star plus ships.” The ship most recently sailed as the Saga Rose for Saga Cruises.
