Video of Clelia II, sailing for Travel Dynamics, in very rough seas earlier this week in the Drake Passage in Antarctica after losing an engine.
Reports say waves caused by 55-mph winds knocked out the vessel’s communications and smashed windows.No injuries have been reported to the 88-passengers onboard, all of which are Americans, although there were minor injuries reported to the crew.
. Sources say a Lindblad Expeditions ship – the National Geographic Explorer – came to assist and now both ships are on their way back to Ushuaia, Argentina.
