Cruises Inc. Announces New Business Model For 2011

Cruises Inc., part of World Travel Holdings and the nation’s original host agency, is set to debut a unique new business model on January 1, 2011.  Designed to be competitive with the changing marketplace, the newly launched Cruises Inc. will make 100% commissions possible and add a new layer of flexibility to the business for new Independent Contractors coming onboard in 2011.

“Cruises Inc. was the nation’s first-ever host agency when it debuted in 1982, and we have grown rapidly since that time,” said Dwain Wall, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cruises Inc.  “That said, as the cruise and travel industries evolve, so must we.  Cruises Inc. is committed to continued innovation, ensuring we remain the ideal choice for those looking to either enter the travel industry, or take their existing travel business to the next level.”

Features of the new Cruises Inc. include:

•  Ability to earn 100% commission
•  Lower initial entry fee and no recurring annual enrollments costs
•  Instructor-led live virtual start-up training
•  More variety in training dates
•  Access to new services, technologies and marketing programs
•  Enhanced back office support from the Cruises Inc. Corporate Headquarters Team

“With new earning opportunities, live virtual training and more flexibility than ever, we are confident that Cruises Inc. will now be attractive to both new and expert agents,” said Wall.  “Most importantly, we know that this unique model will be especially compelling for ‘millennials,’ which will help bring new blood into the industry.”

Agents who join Cruises Inc. in 2011 will automatically be enrolled in the new format.  The host is also offering its existing 550+ Independent Contractors the option of switching to the new model.  Those who do not move will remain part of the original Cruises Inc., dubbed “Cruises Inc. Classic.”
