A new tram line will be built in Istanbul, reaching the Salipazar cruise terminal and making it easier for passengers on ships docking there to visit the sights, including the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, according to tourism sources. The new tram line will connect to the existing line, stretching from Kabatas to Zeytinburnu, passing through the city’s historic peninsula. The new tram line is slated to be completed in time for the cruise season, starting in spring.
