The Costa Mediterranea in ConstantzaThe port of Constantza, Romania, has reduced its passenger fees by 50 percent, from 5 euros to 2.5 euros in order to make itself more attractive to the cruise lines, according to Andrea Nistor, manager of commercial relations.

In 2010, 60 calls are scheduled with a total of 16,000 foreign tourists, she said, of which 75 percent will be on ocean-going vessels, and the balance on riverboats.
