Mad Rock, Cap Sante Sign Service Agreement

Mad Rock, claiming to be the first company to offer a fail-safe lifeboat release hook, has signed a service agreement with Cap Sante International, a provider of lifeboat products, services and training.

According to Mad Rock, it has designed the RocLoc lifeboat release hook system for the safe evacuation of passengers and seafarers. The company said in a prepared statement that people are killed on lifeboats every year primarily due to unreliable release hooks. Mad Rock said its fail-safe release hook technology will reduce the number of preventable deaths related to lifeboats.

Cap Sante International’s technicians have improved the entire process of hook installations in part due to the ease of use and simple functionality of the RockLoc system, according to Mad Rock. Hook installs can be completed much faster and overall costs are cut dramatically. At the same time, safety increases along with the confidence level of the onboard crew.

Cap Sante provides support for the entire lifeboat installation, inspection and maintenance lifecycle. As the provider to the commercial, cruise and offshore industries in Australia, United States, Germany and Canada, Cap Sante committed to providing all its customers globally with the Mad Rock products, as well as the corresponding training courses and consulting services.
