What’s Your “Cruisitude?”

Cruise Planners/American Express has launched Cruisitude.com, a social networking experience where cruisers can express their “Cruisitude,” which is described as any attitude, feeling or state of mind towards cruising. Cruise lovers and enthusiasts from across the world can now convene to share their pictures, videos, cruise experiences and insights all in one place, Cruise Planners said in a press release.

“Everyday, the world becomes closer as we create new ways to connect with each other regardless of geographic location, job titles or time of day,” said Vicky Garcia, Cruise Planners SVP of sales & marketing. “For just that reason, Cruise Planners created Cruisitude.com, a virtual common place to share stories, experiences and enthusiasm for our common love of cruising.”

Launched in late July, Cruisitude.com has experienced rapid growth with members eager to share their stories, and most importantly, their Cruisitude. The site offers a social networking platform where anyone can join in to personalize their profiles, post videos on ‘Tude Tube, listen to ‘Tude Tunes, share ‘Tude Pics, blog on ‘Tude Mussings and much more.

According to one member, “Cruisitude is leaving your work and stress at the dock while sailing away on the cool blue ocean into the relaxing orange sunset!” Another cruiser defined Cruisitude as the “excitement when you start planning your cruise, looking through the catalogs and choosing your ship, destination, cabin location, port of call and island excursions
