Louis Charter to Brazil’s CVC

Louis plc has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Agencia De Viagens CVC Tur for the charter of the Orient Queen for the period commencing Nov. 20, 2009 and ending on March 15, 2010.

CVC is the leading Brazilian tour and cruise operator. During her 115-day long charter period, the Orient Queen will be performing cruises out of Recife in Brazil to a number of popular destinations in the region.

It should be noted that this agreement forms part of the company’s strategy for maximizing the utilization of its fleet during the winter period. The charter of yet another cruise ship to a major tour operator in the international market constitutes one more example of the trust placed in Louis Cruises and the high level of services it provides, the company said in a prepared statement.
