Royal Caribbean International announced today its spring and summer 2010 Asian itineraries, which are part of its year-round season in Asia with Legend of the Seas. Fans of Legend of the Seas can look forward to a variety of attractive new itineraries and destinations in Asia to choose from.
New Itineraries, New Destinations and New Homeports
As many as 14 different itineraries ranging from four to nine nights are rolled out for this season, with eight being featured for the first time. Moreover, they offer a mixture of exotic and popular new ports-of-call such as Hualien, Miyazaki, Nagoya and Vladivostok, that let cruise enthusiasts to explore even more of the captivating destinations the region has to offer. On top of Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai, a new homeport, Yokohama[1], is added for this season.
Highlights of this season include six sailings of four distinct itineraries out of Hong Kong, to destinations including Sanya, Hue/Danang, Taipei and Okinawa. Guests can also experience two different itineraries from Yokohama, one to Shanghai, Jeju and Busan, and the other to Hakodate, Otaru, Vladivostok and Shanghai. There will also be three sailings out of Kaohsiung to ports-of-call such as Halong Bay and Hong Kong.
In addition, the cruises from Shanghai to popular Japanese and Korean destinations such as Kobe, Kagoshima and Busan in particular, are expected to attract the interest of the local and international visitors in the city during the World Expo 2010, as a convenient nearby holiday option.
