The Passenger Shipping Association (PSA) has announced the re-launch of its consumer website, www.discover-cruises.co.uk, which will be officially unveiled at the Daily Telegraph CRUISE show at Excel, London between 21-22 March 2009. The Discover Cruises website, which has been given a new design and layout, is a one stop shop for both newcomers and experienced cruisers to find out everything they need to know about cruising from the destinations, the itineraries and the types of ships.
With stylish and evocative imagery and a fresh new look, the Discover Cruises website gives an insight into the huge breadth that a cruise holiday offers to passengers, whether they are a family travelling for the first time, looking for adventure, a solo traveller or in need of a relaxing spa break.
Offering ultra luxury, deluxe, river & canal plus cruise and specialist collections, Discover Cruises gives online visitors access to the latest on cruise destinations, what’s new on board and a wave of exciting and innovative excursions and activities.
William Gibbons, Director of the Passenger Shipping Association said:
“We are delighted to be re-launching the Discover Cruises website and have worked hard to ensure it’s easy to navigate and remains user friendly. With a cruise holiday there are so many choices to make and we want to make sure that choosing the destination, ship and itinerary are part of the fun as well as directing customers to travel agents who have specialist cruise knowledge.
“Our 37 cruise members all have something unique to offer, with specialists in all fields ranging from family holidays and first time cruisers to spa and wellness cruises, or cruises for those seeking a trip of a lifetime. We have a dedicated area of the website which gives a detailed overview of each cruise option along with the cruise operators who offer these services. Discover Cruises, www.discover-cruises.co.uk, is the perfect research tool for anyone planning a cruise, be it their first cruise or their 100th!”
The Discover Cruises website will be available on large interactive screens at the Daily Telegraph CRUISE Show which offers visitors advice on everything cruise.
Discover Cruises, under the umbrella of the Passenger Shipping Association, represents 37 cruise brands which in 2008 provided 1.5 million cruises to British holidaymakers.
