Seabourn Announces Savings of up to 65% for 2009 Europe Season

The Yachts of Seabourn announced that the ultra-luxury line is reducing the fares on European cruises in 2009 by 50 to 65 percent off the published brochure fares. The new fares start from only $2,999 per person for a seven-day Mediterranean voyage, based on double occupancy on one of the line’s award-winning yachts.

On the line’s brand-new 450-guest Seabourn Odyssey, which will be the first new ultra luxury vessel in over six years when it debuts June 24, fares start from only $3,299 per person, double.

The adjusted fares apply to 49 voyages of seven to 16 days, departing between June 13 and October 24, 2009. The percentage of savings varies by suite category, by departure date, and by the length of the voyage.

“There’s never been a better time to try the world’s best cruise experience,” said Pamela Conover, Seabourn’s president and CEO. “We have long enjoyed the best reputation in the industry for quality, in terms of food, service, destinations and the intimate ambiance of our yachts. All of that is now available at a truly exceptional value.”
