Louis Cruise Lines’ Emerald and Sapphire will both be sailing out of Limassol, Cyprus this March, a spokesperson told Cruise Industry News.

The Emerald, which was previously on charter to Thomson Cruises, will be doing three- to 10-day sailings for Louis in the Aegean, Greek Islands, Black Sea “and other Western Mediterranean destinations,” the spokesperson said. The Sapphire will be doing three- to seven-day Greek Islands sailings, he added.

Deployment for the majority of Louis’ fleet was announced in mid-2008, but the Emerald and Sapphire, which both cater exclusively to the local market, are typically released the beginning of the year, the spokesperson said.
