Thank You Regent Seven Seas

The Travel Acquisitions Group Chairman Michael Batt has thanked Regent Seven Seas President and CEO Mark Conroy for starting to pay commissions on so-called NCFs (Non Commissionable Fees). In a letter, Batt wrote that on behalf of the Travel Acquisitions Group’s family of brands — including Travel Leaders, Cruise Holidays, Results Travel, SeaMaster Cruises, Cruise Specialists and CruiseDeals.com — he wanted to personally extend the deepest appreciation to Conroy and Regent Seven Seas for paying commissions to travel agents on the complete costs of a cruise.

The trend has been that more fees and charges have been made exempt from the commissionable cruise fare, which combined with discounted rates, has reduced travel agents income significantly.

Batt has also submitted letters to other cruise lines, strongly encouraging them to follow the example set by Regent Seven Seas.
