St. Croix Launches “Your Port of Solace” Campaign

The island of St. Croix is pleased to announce a new branding campaign, aptly themed “St. Croix: Your Port of Solace,” based on consumer research that underscores travelers’ desire for a Caribbean port of call that is embodies distinct marketing identity.

The campaign features print and broadcast advertisements and a new marketing video designed to transport visitors to a new state of mind to experience the island of St. Croix in all of its beauty, culture and history.

Following the multi-million dollar refurbishment of the Ann E. Abramson Marine Facility – the main cruise ship port for St. Croix – and the Frederiksted pier area, the island will open its doors to a whole new world of cruise passengers in 2009.

As a testament to its renewed popularity, many popular cruise lines have already added St. Croix to their 2009 itineraries, including Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Amazara Cruises, Disney Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, Holland America Line, Crystal Cruises, Seabourn Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
