The newest addition to the Victoria Cruises fleet, the Victoria Jenna, slated to enter service in April 2009, is nearly 70 percent complete, according to the line’s Sales Manager Tom Antonucci.
The 378-passenger, 10,000-ton, five-deck ship is being built at Chongqing Shipyard in China, and will be “the largest and most luxurious ship on the Yangtze River,” Antonucci said. It will also have four elevators, and the most junior suites (35) in the Victoria fleet.
As for 2010, there are no set plans to add another ship, “but there is always a possibility,” Antonucci said.
