Pacific Sun Sets Sail After Refurbishment

Passengers on P&O Cruises’ Pacific Sun can now relax in a new child-free Oasis spa retreat – the highlight of a multi-million dollar revamp of the ship.

Sporting a new P&O Cruises’ classic all-white livery, Pacific Sun sailed from Brisbane on a South Pacific cruise on Saturday (Sept 13) following a two-week dry dock at Brisbane’s Forgacs Cairnscross Dockyard.

Other features of her refurbishment include an ocean-view gym, a coffee shop and a revamp of the library to enable it to transform at night into an elegant Steakhouse offering an intimate dining experience.

Meanwhile the previous gym area has been converted into a relaxation room for the ship’s popular Lotus Spa, giving passengers another space to chill out.

To celebrate the refurbishment, P&O Cruises is giving travel agents the chance to enjoy their own makeover, with a five-week promotion highlighting different aspects of Pacific Sun’s new look featuring weekly prizes for agents.
