Málaga is the first spanish port in the installation of a Pegasus range boarding bridge
About 2,000 passengers belonging to Costa Europe cruise ship, inaugurated the new Boarding Bridge located in the Passenger Terminal of Málaga Port.
The vessel, capable to host to 1,773 passengers, arrived to the Port of Málaga, coming from Gibraltar. Later, some representatives of the crew checked by themselves the reliability of the new structure. They were satisfied with the effectiveness of the boarding bridge as well as surprised about its lightness and modernity. In this way, Málaga is the only Spanish port in setting up a structure with these characteristics, belonging to Pegasus range.
The comfort the new structure offers related to the passenger service and the luggage means an added value for the Port of Málaga and the city, because the shipping lines are very interested in making easy the voyage of their guests.
The TEAM Company saw to transporting and the montage of this sophisticated boarding bride, which has glazed in both sides to offer a comprehensive vision of the Port of Málaga.
Moreover, lifting frames allow the cabin to service various heights and horizontal locations of ship doors whilst maintining the tunnel inclination within the established range. This Passenger boarding bridge moves along the wharf by means of rails and can be parked away from the terminal.
The director of the project, Mr. Albert Reig, is very grateful about the help of the Port of Málaga in the montage of this new structure, which will facilitate the embark and disembark of passengers in the Cruise ship Terminal.
