Orient Lines, the destination cruise specialist acquired recently by cruise industry visionary Wayne Heller, is staffing its new Celebration, Fla., main office and hiring its nationwide sales force.
The cruise line will be interviewing candidates during July with plans to open its reservation center in August. Applications are currently being accepted for sales, reservations, passenger services and accounting departments.
Additionally, Orient Lines is seeking sales managers for the following six territories: Northern California, Southern California, Texas, Midwest, NY/NJ and Southeast. Regional sales managers must have at least five years experience working a multi-state territory and selling worldwide destination travel products.
“Orlando is home to more talented hospitality professionals than any place in the world,” said Heller, Orient Line’s president and CEO. “We plan to hire the best and brightest team in the business and can promise a competitive salary, benefits and a fun work environment.”
Since it was originally launched in 1991, Orient Lines has been recognized by readers of Condé Nast Traveler and won numerous other awards for its destination-oriented, value-priced cruise vacations to exotic places worldwide. Depending on the itinerary, experts from the fields of academia, politics, science and the foreign service will be along to enrich the experience. Where possible, Orient Lines arranges for local performers to entertain on board. On longer voyages, gentleman hosts will be along to dance and dine with unescorted female travelers.
