Oceania Cruises announced several key executive appointments in the areas of Marketing and Vessel Operations.
“As we prepare for the introduction of our new Oceania-Class ships, these new team members will play vital roles in ensuring that we continue to deliver the world-class experience that Oceania Cruises is renowned for and positioning us for continued success in the coming years,” stated Bob Binder, President of Oceania Cruises.
Marketing
Jim Lida, Director of Marketing.
Jim formerly served as the Director of Marketing for CLIA, and comes to Oceania Cruises with a wealth of cruise line and cruise-related business experience. Jim will oversee all marketing campaigns and communications including brochures, direct mail and fulfillment.
Bruce Engstrom, Director of Brand Management.
Bruce has over 15 years of design experience. He has supervised creative teams working on accounts such as Sea World, Disney and Universal Studios. Bruce will oversee the company’s in-house design team and development of consumer and trade advertising, brochures, direct mail and all aspects of the line’s brand management.
Both Jim and Bruce report to James Rodriguez, Senior Vice President of Marketing.
Vessel Operations
Chris Foong, Senior Vice President of Marine Operations.
Chris joins Oceania Cruises from Norwegian Cruise Line where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Technical Operations and Refurbishment. Chris will report to Robin Lindsay, Executive Vice President of Vessel Operations and be responsible for all aspects of vessel operations at Oceania Cruises.
Luigi Razeto, Senior Director of Fleet Compliance.
Luigi has a wealth of experience from positions held at Costa Crociere and Martinoli S.A.M. and was most recently at Carnival Cruise Lines, where he held the position of Director of SMS and Quality Assurance. Luigi will ensure that the ships meet with or exceed all international regulations and requirements.
Paolo Mele, Senior Director of Fleet Deck and Engine Operations.
Paolo joins Oceania Cruises after 20 years at Carnival Cruise Lines. He was most recently Director Technical Operations for their Conquest Class and has extensive experience in new ship construction. Paolo will manage the relationship with V-Ships who provide day-to-day technical management for the fleet.
